Shipping Policy

From our coop to your doorstep—with care, cluck, and a bit of lathered love.

At Feather & Tallow, we handcraft and pack each bar of soap right here on our little homestead, where chickens roam free and the scent of lavender wafts through the air. Orders are packed with care (and occasionally overseen by curious hens) and sent on their merry way as quickly as possible.

🕰 Processing Time

Orders ship within 3–5 business days unless otherwise noted. During high-volume times (like holidays or a surprise chicken uprising), we may need an extra day or two—but we’ll always do our best to keep you posted.

📦 Shipping Rates & Carriers

We currently ship within the U.S. only. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight. Most packages go out via USPS, but occasionally we may use UPS or carrier pigeons with strong work ethics. (Just kidding—we don’t trust them with soap.)

🐓 Local Pickup

If you’re near St. Petersburg, Florida, you may see a local pickup option at checkout when available. We’ll email you to coordinate your pickup—possibly at a farmers market, or at the edge of the chicken pen.

📬 Delivery Time

Once shipped, your order should arrive within 2–7 business days, depending on your distance from our soapstead. Tracking numbers are emailed to you when your order ships, so you can follow your sudsy parcel on its journey.

🚨 Lost or Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged or doesn’t show up at all, email us at featherandtallow@gmail.com. We’ll help track it down or send a replacement if needed. Just be sure to reach out within 7 days of the expected delivery date.
